People in charge
Curtin Christian Union is a guild affiliated club, and is required to be led by a committee. The committee consists of students, who each bear certain titles and responsibilities. It is these people who do most of the planning and decision making throughout the year. The committee is elected each year from CCU student members, by CCU student members.
Assisting the committee are staffworkers - some who have completed formal theological training, and some who are on a ministry apprenticeship through MTS. The staffworkers are at Curtin University to provide help, train us, give us solid teaching from the Bible, encourage us in our walks with Christ, and encourage us also to let others know about the good news that we have.
In addition, some CCU members are organised into working teams, who plan and run various aspects of what we do, with guidance from the committee and the staffworkers. Areas that the working teams manage include the Wednesday Bible talks, Mission week and CCU publicity.
